Can I cancel my booking?
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. If you cancel too late, you will not receive a refund. However, Rederij de Wester is willing to offer you a new time or date for your booking.
Does the cruise still operate in bad weather?
We do not cancel due to rain. However, in cases of severe weather conditions, we may be forced to cancel for safety reasons. We closely monitor the weather, and if it poses a danger to our customers, we will cancel the tour and provide a full refund.
Can I cancel if it rains?
You are always allowed to cancel if it rains, but you will not receive a refund.
Are your boats equipped with a roof?
Yes, our boats have roofs. The AMS-1 boat has a specially designed roof for all seasons, while the Jochie boat has a removable roof. We always make the best decision on whether to keep the roof on or off.
Are snacks and drinks included in your cruises?
Yes, our cruises include snacks and drinks, and warm bitterballen, which we pick up from the best boat catering service in Amsterdam. If you have booked a breakfast cruise, you will receive fresh croissants, bread rolls, juices, prosecco, and more.
I have allergies or dietary restrictions (vegetarian/vegan). Can you accommodate this?
Yes, please let us know in advance so we can arrange suitable snacks for you.
Where is your departure point?
Our departure point is Keizersgracht 401, 1016 EE, Amsterdam. In front of the building, there is a green bench by the water where you can board the boat. Please wait outside and do not enter the building.
Do you have a toilet on board?
No, there is no toilet on board. However, we make a stop to pick up warm snacks, and you can use the restroom there.
Can I request something special for my cruise?
Of course! Let us know your wishes, and we will see if we can make them possible.
Is smoking allowed on board?
No, smoking is not allowed on board.
Can I rent the boat privately?
Yes, you can! Please contact us to discuss the possibilities.
